SUPPLIES NEEDED:
12"x18" drawing paper (front and back), PEN, mirror
STEP #1 What is a BLIND Continuous contour line? A line drawing that is created without the use of constantly looking at the paper. Continuous means you will not lift your pen. You will not be able to erase. By not looking at your paper this will force you to ONLY look at the object and draw exactly what you see.
STEP #2 Watch videos below for an example on how you will draw you hand gestures.
STEP #3 You will look at yourself in the mirror and draw yourself with a blind continuous line. This means you will NOT look at the paper. This will force you to look at your face only. Do not lift your pen! You are drawing in RIGHT BRAIN MODE. You will not make any assumptions. Do not use left brain memorized symbols. It is just lines and shapes not a face. Draw exactly what you see. You can listen to classical music or instrumental music, thats music without lyrics. Remember 1 ear bud only. Make sure to include all details. pupil, eyelids, eyelashes, birthmarks.. You can overlap your lines. Dont worry about it looking realistic. The point is to focus on the the object not the end result. The face is meant to look funny. FOLLOW THE ORDER BELOW when drawing. DRAW BIG!
