SUPPLIES NEEDED:
1 sheet of copy paper (front and back), PEN
STEP #1 What is a BLIND Continous contour line? A line drawing that is created without the use of constantly looking at the paper. Continuous means you will not lift your pen. You will not be able to erase. By not looking at your paper this will force you to ONLY look at the object and draw exactly what you see.
STEP #2 Fold your paper in half. You will use the front and back of your paper. Number each section #1 - #4 . Watch videos below for an example on how you will draw you hand gestures.
STEP #3 Pick a hand gesture. If you are right handed you will make your hand gesture with your left hand and draw with the right. If you are left handed you will make your hand gesture with your right hand and draw with your left. Pick any appropriate hand gesture. You will spend 2 minutes on each hand gesture. See video below on how you will draw your hand gesture. Again you are drawing in RIGHT BRAIN MODE. You will not make any assumptions. Do not use left brain memorized symbols. It is not a hand. Just lines and shapes. Draw exactly what you see. You can listen to classical music or instrumental music, thats music without lyrics. Remember 1 ear bud only. Make sure to include all details. nails , wrinkles, hairs. You can overlap your lines. Dont worry about it looking realistic. The point is to focus on the the object not the end result. The hand is meant to look funny.
